Where our yoga journeys meet
We are all learning
Whether you have practised yoga for many years or this is your first time, you are very welcome.
Yoga is not competitive, it is for you and about you. We all take away something individual from each session, be that to reflect, to exercise, to become more flexible or to explore more yogic ways.
I am on my own yoga journey and you are very welcome to my yoga sessions. Stay as long as you are gaining benefits and enjoy the time, for you.

Classes for Summer Term 2026
Welcome to class.
Summer term planning has found me drawing on my own yoga path of study.
I am on a course with my teacher delving further into the philosophy, essence and purpose of yoga through the ancient text of Patanjali’s sutras or threads of knowledge.
I am expanding my awareness and knowledge as I move forward on my personal yoga journey!
The first nine classes will be based on the theme of ‘The Subtle Body’. This includes the energy paths in the body (Nadis), the Chakras (energy centres or junctions) and the layers of human experience or existence (The Pancha Koshas or five sheaths).
Sounds complicated...?
Not really….
As always, our mixed ability, friendly group will welcome any newcomers and focusing on the task of releasing and easing the body, grounding, relaxing and letting go of the Chitta or ‘mind stuff’ for a while.
We will be working on flexibility and strength in the body through asana (physical postures and flows), using the breath as a bridge between the body and mind (pranayama) and various guided relaxation techniques which tend to involve a nice lie down under a blanket at the end of the class.
I hope you can make it!
OM Shanti
